A little about Blackline Teams

You can make your Teams up from whoever you like. We expect Clubs will form Teams from their athletes, and that makes sense, but there’s no Club or State restrictions.

Now if you can’t form a Team with the minimum of 6 (Max 10), don’t stress, we have individual riders looking for Teams and we can help out.

The Track League events are points based. The events are Men’s and Women’s Endurance and Sprint events. So a competitive team is best to have a mix of Men and Women U19 & U23 Sprinters and Enduros to collect as many points as possible. Having said that, your Team can consist of whatever combination you like so long as you have 3 Women.

The points system encourages inclusion of all performance levels. There will be B Finals with significant teams points on offer so there’s a real benefit including everyone.

Team Managers will be added to a Managers Chat group.

We are negotiating with 2 Kit Suppliers at present to provide Team Jerseys. We will have a proforma Kit design in different colours and patterns much like the 6 Day. The plan is for these Jerseys to be very affordable. Your Team Sponsor will go on the Jersey.

We were aiming for 10 Teams, we currently have interest from 8 Teams so let’s raise the bar to 15!
