About the League

Back for Season 3

Blackline Track League returns for its 3rd season, bringing high-energy team track racing to U19, U23 and elite riders across Australia. Three rounds, three velodromes, one series — Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

Each team lines up in matching jerseys, mixing male and female riders, sprinters and endurance athletes — much like the Six Day format. It's more racing, more inclusion, and more fun between Juniors and Elites, with a mix of Olympic and Carnival events, pumping music and full livestream coverage.

How It Works

Teams. Points. Glory.

Every rider earns points for their team, regardless of overall position or grade — rewarding performance across the field, not just the podium. A-Finals carry the most weight, B-Finals still count, and composite teams get a fair share.

  • Team points come from your two best-placed riders in each event — a third scorer earns individual points only.
  • A & B Finals both score, with A-Finals worth roughly 4x a B-Final placing.
  • Balanced weighting across Sprint and Endurance disciplines, and Keirin / Match Sprint events.
  • Individual leaderboards track the top riders by age group (U19/U23), gender and discipline.
  • Highest accumulated Team Points wins each round — and the overall series champion is crowned after Round 3.
